Do you have export experience from within a freight forwarder and or direct exporter?
Our client is a Export Trading Company, privately owned and Australian specialising in servicing the international market, providing their buyers with the very best . They have a need for a export documentation assistant.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Arranging bookings with freight forwarders/shipping lines
- Issuing and preparing export documentation
- Liasing with overseas customers/buyers
- Lodging of bank documents
- Paperwork follow up
- Handling customer queries
- General customer service
You will need to display:
- Professional presentation
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent PC skills including Excel
- Have export experience in Australia
- Understanding of letters of credit
- Knowledge of EDN's and customs procedures
- Handling of airfreight desirable
