Our client is an established and long standing Australian owned Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarder, with an incredibly long term and loyal, diverse range of clients, this company offers variety and a positive working environment to their staff.

They are currently seeking to employ an experienced Customs Broker to join their close knit team in their Sydney office.

Reporting to the Customs Manager, your major responsibilities of the role are:

• Lodging Customs entries for a wide range of clientele in a timely manner.
• Assisting the Manager in the day to day smooth and efficient flow of work relating to customs jobs and ensure client satisfaction and expectations, ensuring they are met at all times.
• Maintaining excellent service to internal and external customers at all time.
• Provide guidance to the classifiers and compilers when required.
• Classification - if and when required. On occasion it will be.
• Assisting in Customs and quarantine clearance and delivery to customers.

To be successful for this role you will have at least 2 - 4 years' experience lodging entries as Licensed Customs Broker.

They are seeking to employ an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a 'hands on' manner with like-minded individuals.

Ideally you will have experience with the EDI system (not essential) and MS Office and you must have the ability to prioritise the workload to meet the needs and expectations of their customers at all times.

Salary package is negotiable dependant on experience
