Our client is a leading international Oil and Gas producer with operations in NT and WA. Based in Darwin they are seeking an experienced aviation advisor to assist with all people and freight movements through two terminals.

Reporting to the logistics manager the role will have an operational and strategic focus as well as being involved in OHS, Emergency Management and similar groups. Duties in the role include

• Ensuring Aviation Competencies are implemented and maintained
• Reviewing and Monitoring of all flight logs
• Overseeing Aviation Management System
• Risk Management
• Monitoring weather conditions in offshore areas of operation
• Continual improvement of aviation operations
• Participating in External Audits.
• Fuel Provisioning

The role will be office based in Darwin with ad-hoc visits to the 2 terminals as required. Applicants for the position should have demonstrated experience in an operational aviation role. The position is initially offered on a casual contract basis with possibility of a longer term contract being offered.
