Established over twenty five years they have built the business to be a leading supplier too many of the major global and national logistics company’s across the Australia. With an ambitious growth strategy in place for 2012 they now wish to appoint a driven and professional Business Development Executive to add to the already successful sales and marketing function of the business.

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing new business relationships across the Transport & Logistics and commercial fleet markets. You will also be the main point of contact with the key clients that already have successful and established business relationships with this business. You will drive new sales growth across the target market and negotiate large commercial agreements. An important part of this role will be to win market share in your assigned territory and have great attention to detail when dealing with all customer requirements. You will be out in the field working independently and be a true believer in giving your customers a great overall experience. Being able to generate your own leads, following up on warm leads, setting a sales strategy and route to market are also very important skills to have.

The ideal candidate will have a track sales record and have sold into the Transport & Logistics field or have sold capital equipment into industrial markets. Also a key attribute my client is looking for is professionalism and ambition to represent this successful business in the market place. You will have the ability to present and all levels and also have an understanding of the tender process.
This really is an exciting time to join this growing and ambitious company. On offer to the successful candidate is a base salary of $65,000k plus super, company car, mobile phone and expenses. Bonus structure is also open to negotiation depending on experience!!
