This global industry leading producers of drive technology for mechanical and electronic solutions requires the services of an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join their growing team. Based in the western suburbs and reporting directly to the Sales Director, in this pivotal role you will be responsible for: - Assisting with and analysing customers technical queries
- Assisting the external sales team when required
- Preparing and delivering proposals for customers
- Liaising with overseas and local suppliers
- Liaise with relevant staff working on the project
- Performance of additional design and assistance work in relation to contracts as required
- Effectively communicating with all levels of the business
As the ideal candidate you will possess the following key attributes: - A multidiscipline Engineering understanding including but not limited to mechanical and electrical (Drives and Power Transmission preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to read and disseminate relevant technical information
- Very strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
- A relevant Engineering qualification
