General Merchandise Manager - Arana Hills As the general merchandise manager you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of merchandise presentation & housekeeping in line with business standards & customer expectations with in the home and leisure departments. To be considered for this role you will need to possess: - Previous experience within a similar role ideally within a big box retail environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire the team around you with a strong focus on TEAM
- Exceptional customer service team - leaving your customer happy and smiling
- Previous experience within a Big Box retail department store and a sound knowledge of store operating procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to maintain company standards in relation to merchandising, stock and security procedures.
- The ability to develop relationships across all levels.
- The ability to maintain a safe work environment for all staff and customers.
- The ability to make decisions, problem solve and think on your feet within a fast paced environment.
