This international provider of mining productivity solutions is looking for someone with a mining background to join their Brisbane based team as a Pre Sales Consultant. While it would be preferred you do not have to have prior pre sales experience for this role.

In this role you will need to be able to understand the mining business problems typically faced by mine managers, geology superintendents and or technical services managers.

Your mining experience can be from a wide variety of areas ie mine geology (not just solely exploration), mining engineering or survey experience and can be underground or open pit experience and can be based on any commodity (although coal, base or precious metals experience would be slightly preferred).

In addition to your mining industry knowledge ideally you will ideally have exposure or an understanding of mining software and tools for geological modelling, mine planning and scheduling.

Working closely with the sales team the challenge in this role is understanding the business problems and tailoring the software demonstration to exactly meet the customer needs. You will need to be comfortable presenting to groups of people and be capable of building trust and empathy.

There is global travel required with this role (approx. 25% travel time)

This role provides a generous base salary, performance based bonuses and a range of aditional benefits including reasonable relocation costs from within Australia if needed.
