Exploration Geologist x 3  

Our clients is looking for 3 Exploration geologists to fill key functions within the Galilee basin.
The positions will be site based roles (FIFO Brisbane) and will be responsible for exploration programs. You will ensure the quality collection and preparation of data for database entry and modeling, and as required, you will undertake field activities as well as giving directions to other field contractors.

Ideally your background will include the relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the coal industry. Knowledge of the Bowen Basin geology as well as an understanding of coal quality is desirable but not essential. Superior data management skills are essential whilst familiarity with acQuire databases, MapInfo, and geological modeling packages would be beneficial.
