As the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment and with an increasing demand for the organisation’s products and services, they are currently seeking an experienced Production Planner to coordinate daily tasks for an experienced mixed trades team including fitters, boilermakers and electricians.

Working closely with the Workshop Management team your experience as an estimator will ensure your accuracy in reporting back to the Foreman on the status of production in your section. Your performance will be measured on your ability to bring jobs in on time and in budget and your technical abilities will include experience in a heavy industrial environment and the ability to read engineering drawings, issue work and order materials.

As the successful candidate you will be able to display the following:
• A mechanical trade qualification (minimum) coupled with post trade qualifications in hydraulics and pneumatics (highly desirable)
• Previous experience in production planning in mining or a related industry
• An inherent drive to promote safe work practices and educate others on the importance of safety
• Exposure to SAP would be considered highly desirable to your application
