I am seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to assist in driving forward our client's support Storage and Backup team in Sydney. You will be responsible for the installations, commission, fault diagnosis, repair and support to ensure all Service Level Agreements are met.
 
Experience and skills required: 

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role in operational support
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in Client Server environment
• Backup applications in ideally UNIX-based environments - preferably TSM
• IBM storage technologies (ESS/Shark, SVC, DS4000, DS6000)
• Report writing and documentation skills
• Experience with process orientated toolsets (Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management)
• Experience in supporting large distributed environments (with multiple platforms)
• ITIL awareness or certification
• Good understanding of Backup & SAN concepts
• Experience in supporting mixed SAN and/or Backup environments across multiple technologies
