Our reputable telecommunications client is currently looking for an experienced RAE Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. To be successful in the role you will have a strong background with planning, design, integration and optimisation (both 2G and 3G). If you have vendor experience with Nokia and Huawei equipment it would be beneficial! In return you will be working in a top environment and have the benefit of the opportunity to join the organisation for a long term. You will be actively looking after the GSM and WCDMA Mobile Access Network for NSW and ACT. Essential Skills and Experience - Exposure to 2G and 3G network optimization and understanding of all mobile testing equipment functionalities.
- Experience in a field related to radio propagation and/or RF equipment, preferably mobile network infrastructure
- Sound Analytical Skills of network performance and an understanding of performance counters
- Sound understanding of the business environment in which Mobile operates
- Sound understanding of Radio propagation theory and modelling
- Antenna design and implementation principles
- Cellular Network Theory
- Traffic Theory
- GSM and UMTS Systems
