Our client is a reseller and developer of Computer Aided Dispatch software to the Emergency Services/Public Safety sector in the Australia/Pacific region.
They currently seek a customer focused individual with an eye for detail and can-do attitude with a minimum of 2 years + experience to fill the role of Software Support Engineer. The role will require you to liaise closely with the IT departments of their customers to provide technical support for the core Computer Aided Dispatch product, and all other software products supported by them. The skills we are looking for are as follows: - Basic Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
- Microsoft Windows OS - 2000/XP/2003/2008 Server
- Citrix Presentation Server
- Appropriate Tertiary qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving skills to assess diagnose and resolve technical issues
Some exposure and/or skills in the following would be well regarded: * Incident/Change/Release Management (ITIL) * Visual Basic - VB6 The successful candidate can expect to receive full and comprehensive product training.
