Due to continued growth a new opportunity has arisen for a Network Engineer with a solid working knowledge of Riverbed products and WAN Optimisation. Working alongside Account Managers, Business Unit Managers and other Sales Engineers you will help in the delivery and installation of Riverbed Steelhead products.

This position reports to the National Technical Manager and duties will include:

• Requirement gathering with customers 
• Scope and implement projects
• Pre-configuration of Riverbed Steelhead WAN Optimisation products
• Onsite installation of Riverbed Steelhead applications into customer networks
• Carry out Riverbed demonstrations and presentations
• Carry out Presales functions such as Proof of Concept, respond to RFQ/RFPs

In addition to the duties outlined above, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong vendor relationships and keeping your product knowledge up to date by attending product training sessions.

The successful candidate will fulfil the following:

• Strong technical skills with Riverbed's Steelhead
• Riverbed RCSA-W and/or RCSP-W certifications
• Solid networking skills; TCP/IP,  CCNA/CCNP highly regarded
• Strong understanding of business applications; CRM, email, SharePoint, Citrix, etc)
