Our client, a leading global IT giant, is currently looking for an experienced Wintel Support Engineer to join their Macquarie Park team in a permanent capacity. The successful candidate will need to have in-depth skills and knowledge in the administration and support of Microsoft Server systems in a Windows 2000/003 Server environments including a number of VMware installations.
To be considered for this role you will need;
- Excellent communications skills
- In-depth skills and knowledge in the administration and support of Microsoft Products including but not limited to 2000/2003 Server, Exchange 2003, IIS, ISA, SQL, etc
- Must have experience in large multi-faceted W2K and Windows 2003 environments including Windows clusters and data centre infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and capability to monitor Windows servers and troubleshoot server-related problems
- Minimum of 5 years technical IT experience
- Excellent technical and user documentation skills and experience
- Familiarity with Incident & Change Management
