Our client an established, but very dynamic technology origination requires a System Administrator/Field Engineer to join their growing high-performing organisation. They are recognised for support and training of their staff as well as the creation of a superb work environment.
You will be responsible for working across a number of key clients via the help desk on Level 2 and 3 as well as on site maintenance and implementation of internal systems and external client networks. This will also include customer facing hosted environments as well as providing technical assistance to internal staff with system and network issues and requests
About you:-
You should have 2+ years experience in SME environment responsible for a range of technology, including Servers, Networks, Workstations, and printers and bespoke hard and software.
Experience with:-
Experience working within a virtual environment, ideally exposure to at least one of VMware, Citrix or Microsoft verbal networks
Exposure to remote access solution support in, VPN, Citrix or Terminal Servers
At least one cert. in MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCEA, CCIA or VMware VCP
Support services for MS related technologies, Windows server, MS Exchange, SQL or SharePoint
At a network level - technical support and services for WAN and LAN connectivity, Routers, Firewalls and security
Support and advice on DR (Disaster Recovery) solutions
Some knowledge of telecommunication, solutions and troubleshooting of Data and Voice Circuits.
An understanding of cloud solutions and products
Excellent communication skills are essential for this role as you will be collaborating across various teams and clients over the phone and in person. As there will be some on site work an Australian Drivers License is required.
