The role of Change Management is to minimise service disruption to clients businesses by:
Providing a structured process, which enables a consistent approach to the logging, assessment, approval and review of changes.
providing visibility and communication of changes through change meetings
Responsibilities:
Process Development
• Ensure that change control policies, processes, and standards are implemented
• Ensure that change control policies, processes, and standards are complied with and all parties understand the requirements of the process and policies
• Manage change activity to ensure minimal impact to the customer through the use of effective change control policies, processes, and standards.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Change Control processes
Day to Day Responsibilities
• Daily co-ordination of customer changes with affected parties, ensuring compliance to process.
• Preparation of and chairing Change Advisory Board, Technical Assessment Meetings.
• Creation and distribution of notifications for major impact changes.
• Producing and publishing a daily schedule of changes to ensure visibility of change activity occurring.
• Suggest necessary changes to and assist in any UAT testing of the Change Control system.
• Provide compliance measurement and reporting against the change policies, standards and processes.
• Ensure changes to the Change Management process are clearly defined and communicated to the user base.
• Ensure issues relating to change management are reviewed and remedial action recommended.
Qualifications/Experience
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant operational IT and business experience
- ITIL Foundations certificate/experience
- Experience with Infrastructure Delivery
- General knowledge of Service Delivery Capabilities
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently hold an Australian Government security clearance
