An outstanding opportunity exists for a highly experienced Desktop Engineer to join this Global organisation. Working from the Dysart location you will be responsible for the provision of technical support of PCs in an onsite capacity.
In this role you specific responsibilities will include:
- Installing, configuring and supporting personal computers, peripherals and software as required to meeting SLAs
- Perform second and third level problem determination for PCs
- Undertaking the design of systems and the analysis of high level problems and issues and provide advice to Support Engineers and customers on the most appropriate method of resolution/implementation
To be successful in this position you will need to have:
- Proven desktop support experience and technical understanding
- A strong understanding of technology infrastructure including basic server knowledge
- Experience in assisting and negotiating with customers
- Proven analytical and problem solving ability
- ITIL knowledge will be highly regarded
- Experience working on a remote mine site is highly desirable
