We are looking for a skilled and motivated Application Packager to join one of the Top 3 Service providers in Australia Application Packager As the Application Packager you will service Desktop and SOE related projects. Package applications into MSI format for delivery into managed desktop environments. You will also provide 3rd level support and be an escalation point for Application Packaging issues, problem cases and technical faults. As the Ideal Candidate you will have: - Experience packaging software into a MSI format.
- Experience with VMware ThinApp and Citrix XenApp
- Exposure to Application integration and delivery using MS SCCM and Novell ZENworks
- Complete understanding of application packaging and deployment methodologies using Windows Installer technology.
- Microsoft deployment methodologies for Windows XP and Windows 7
- Strong troubleshooting skills for software conflicts.
- Application packaging, conflict management and verification techniques using Wise Package Studio.
Highly Desirable: - CA Unicenter Desktop and Server Management or CA Unicenter Desktop Management Suite.
- SMS, SCCM and Zenworks experience
- Experience managing and supporting desktop hardware and software.
- MCSE: MS Certified Systems Engineer
- Experience in SOE design, development and implementation
