Our client, a global organisation is currently seeking an experienced Storage Analyst to provide technical support and subject matter advice on storage and data protection solutions Responsibilities: - Provides daily Storage maintenance and provisioning activities.
- Implements detailed storage and data protection designs.
- Provides planning and design support
- Provides guidance for other storage support personnel.
- Provides technical support for ITO delivery team(s).
- Attends technical meetings and/or workshops with clients.
- Acts as Technical Lead on specified projects.
- Maintains working relationships with vendors of storage and data protection products supported by delivery teams
Qualifications/Experience - 5+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 2 years with storage technologies
- Experience developing and implementing storage solutions.
- Experience with multiple vendors storage products
- Experience with multiple data protection products
- Demonstrated ability to work with and lead a technical support team.
- Demonstrated ability to gain the utmost level of trust and confidence from clients
- Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies
- Demonstrated ability in solving both common and complex technical problems.
- Certifications in Storage technologies are not mandatory but would be preferred.
Desirable Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- SNIA certified Storage Administrator
- Understanding of ITIL framework
- HP Storage EVA and XP24000 skills.
