Leading Australian Resources company are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join their project team on a 24 month fixed term contract basis. The purpose of this role is to: - Work closely with the system vendor team and become an expert in the design, customisation & configuration of a new customer management, provisioning and billing system.
- After completion of the project phase you will become part of the in house capability for ongoing support, maintenance and enhancements of the systems being delivered. This is expected to include the system changes associated with the ongoing program of asset acquisitions, new builds and divestment.
To be successful in this role you will have some or all of the following skills and attributes: - 5 years plus experience in system analysis, customisation, build and configuration.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working in both project roles and BAU roles.
- Strong mathematical background.
- Experience working with J2EE architecture or similar using XML and Oracle RDBMS
- Strong SQL query skills and the ability to analyse and build PL/SQL code/packages
- Ability to write, review and edit requirements, functional specifications, system design specifications, business processes, user manuals and recommendations related to a proposed solution.
- Work closely with developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Possesses solid understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
