We are seeking a Strong leader to take on the role of Execuive chef for a national Hotel Group. This is a fantastic role for a hands on Head Chef that thrives in a busy environment, and is able to lead a small brigade in a multi outlet setting.Reporting to the Area Food and Beverage Manager, GM and Group Executive Chef, you will work in conjunction to create the culinry offerings to a mix of leisure and corporate guests alike. You will need to be extremely organised and hands on to oversee several operations including a la carte, functions and room service. As the ideal candidate, you will possess a full understanding of reporting lines in a hotel setting, able to achieve set cost targets, and create and implement new menus and operational guidelines. This is not a typical office position, and requires a hands on approach, passion and leadership, and the ability to train and develop.

To be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills:

• Experience in an busy multi outlet venue with a la carte and functions
• Fantastic communication with all levels of staff and management
• Possess good financial understand on all costs and budgets
• Previose experience in a Hotel Setting would be highly desirable
• Have a solid understanding of current legislation and OH&S standards
• Experience in implementing and adhering to all internal P&P in a structured environment
• You lead by example and are very hands on
• Ability to create, cost and implement menus
• Tetiary Qualifications
• A great ability to instill a good work ethic and passion in your team
