Working for one of Australia's leading Organisations in providing solutions to government and consumer organisations. My client, based in the CBD is looking for a Customer Service Operator to join their growing team to respond to all internal and external customer enquiries.
The role will involve you responding to all incoming phone calls and analysing the information provided by the customer and determining what course of action needs to be taken. You then must dispatch the call to the appropriate area for resolution. You will use an internal database to assist you with providing information and transferring the call to the relevant department. There is a very high demand of phone calls and you will be expected to answer and provide a solution quickly so you can continue to the next incoming call.
You will be working in a team of 13 people and you will assessed on talk time and the amount of phone calls you take on a daily basis. You will be required to enter information into an internal database and must have the ability to multitask at all times.
To be suitable for this role you must have either previous switchboard or inbound customer service or call centre experience. You must have intermediate to advanced skills in Word and Excel and have an accurate and fast typing speed. You must have excellent communication skills and fantastic attention to detail. You must have a patient and sympathetic nature and be able to be assertive at times.
This role is an ongoing opportunity with the view of permanency after 3 months. The hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. This role is start ASAP and if you are successful for this role we will be required to do a police check you on.
