General Foreman - Relocate and join the busy ACT construction market
Established over 30 years ago, my client is a leading building contractor developer well known around the Canberra region. With numerous on-going development projects ranging from $40Mil - $100Mil+ they are now in the process of hiring new staff due to the growth of their project portfolio for the 2012 - 2013 period.
With a busy 2012 - 2013 consisting of the development of large apartments around Canberra, they are now in the market for a General Foreman to join their team.
The project will consist of a $60Mil high rise apartment development located in the middle of the ACT. On its early stages they require a General Foreman to manage structures of a building consisting of a basement carpark, 200+ apartments (general construction through to fitouts) and minor civil works.
To be a considered for this position the following requirements and qualifications must be met;
- Minimum 7 years Supervisory Experience
- Must have experience in high end residential apartment developments valued up to $40Mil+
- Proven track record of managing sites for reputable developers or building contractors
- Strong experience managing sub-contractors, trades, OH&S and quality standards
- Currently holds a builders or supervisors license
My client is offering a generous salary package ranging from $140K - $170K inclusive of super and vehicle allowance (assessed through experience).Accommodation can also be negotiated for the first weeks for candidates relocating. My client is also willing to offer the positions for someone looking to start immediately.
