This top tier civil engineering and mining contractor are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a new $100m+ infrastructure project in the Pilbara Region.
Due to the high profile nature of this project our client is very specific on the type of individual required. The successful candidate will be the senior commercial person on site, reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will also be required to interface with the client and subcontractors regarding claims on a regular basis so a professional approach and exceptional communication skills are required.
Apart from the above you will also have the following:

Degree in Quantity Surveying

8yrs Post Graduate Experience with 3 yrs in Australia

Claims Experience (EOT, Variations, Progress etc)

Thorough Knowledge of BothHead andSub Contract Contracts

Exceptional Negotiation Skills
-
Experience on Rail or Civils Projects $40m+
In return the successful candidate will be offered a total remuneration package in excess of $250K
