A competence in transport infrastructure that is the envy of their rivals has recently seen this tier1 contractor awarded one of the largest road projects currently under completion across Australia; this has lead to an immediate need for a number of Site & Project Engineers with bulk earthworks experience to join the project team. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be an integral member of the technical team monitoring site based activities. You will use your well developed project skills to put together budgets & programs, and use this information to provide effective reporting to the management team. You will use your technical expertise to deliver support to the construction of your package of works; and you will work closely with the procurement team to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to site. You will also have involvement with the quality & environmental team for the project to ensure all systems are being followed and that documentation and reporting is being effectively managed. You must possess experience in large scale bulk earthworks, candidates who have used drill and blast techniques, or surface mining equipment in the past will be held in high regard; you will also demonstrate leadership capabilities and the capacity to achieve project outcomes. A tertiary qualification in civil engineering is essential.
