Our client is a long-established manufacturer of a high-quality range of products used by a broad range of industry sectors, but particularly used in food production, processing and retail environments. Over many years, the company has built a strong reputation around its technical expertise, customised solutions and strength in customer service.
Based at the companys head office in Brisbanes South-West, you will be a key member of the Internal Sales / Customer Service team, which supports a group of Account Managers operating across Australia. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers in a position that will have you:
- supporting an Account Manager, who you will "buddy" with;
- fielding inquiries from customers, particularly relating to production and delivery timeframes;
- processing sales orders; and
- liaising with Production and Logistics departments to ensure outstanding outcomes for customers.
In carrying out your objectives, you will be strongly supported by a motivated, dynamic management group committed to the long-term success of the business.
You have a proven history in Customer Service / Internal Sales, ideally within manufacturing, transport, logistics and/or distribution businesses. Exposure to sectors such as food, beverage, FMCG, printing or packaging, though not essential, will be particularly highly regarded.
