Working closely with the Managing Director, you will work to create new relationships and strengthen existing ones across the national financial media including print, TV, Radio and online spaces. You will have responsibility for the delivery of high level editorial and communications content and will be tasked with driving the brand through strategic speaking engagements, writing of a weekly column for a high profile online publication, regular involvement with the ABC, producing regular opinion editorial and other profile building forums.

The role is both demanding and exciting, where your ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and work autonomously will be crucial to your success. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, allowing you to identify and establish new national opportunities to build profile. You will have high level journalistic ability, and it is likely you will have worked as a senior media advisor and/or journalist in the financial services sector, and may have already made the leap to an in-house corporate communications role. Your experience working with the media will be a strength and passion, with broader exposure to marketing an advantage.
