As a pivotal part of the publishing team you will report to the Publishing Manager whilst working closely with the editing team. The employer is a leader in book and journal publishing, as well as pharma communications and has an ambitious strategy to further develop their presence in the health sector. The position will encompass undertaking manuscript acquisition and managing projects within medical and health and science. A challenging a rewarding position that will see you developing e-learning solutions, drive growth of the local publishing programs and maintain contact and develop relationships with key stakeholders. To be successful for this highly sought after position you will ideally possess: - 4 years experience in acquisitions and commissioning within a tertiary environment
- Strong relationship development skills and the ability to manage the demands of author management and project deadlines
- Strong exposure in publishing for the e environment
