- MUST have consumer/FMCG experience
- have established relationships with senior journalists
- have demonstrable exceptional project and client management skills
- have proficiency at conceptualising and managing the implementation of media relations campaigns
As an Account Director, your main responsibilities will include... - autonomous development & management of PR projects/programmes including formulation, implementation, evaluation, budgets and timelines
- using your in depth knowledge of the media to provide counsel and oversee the execution of programs
- Developing, monitoring, and managing budgets
- managing team members to maximise productivity as well as individual, team and financial performance
- growing existing accounts by offering creative ideas and recommendations for new/expanded programmes. This will be based on your sound understanding of your clients' businesses and the challenges they face
- directing the written materials of others with a very high degree of attention to detail
- be a member of senior management
