The Role: The Fundraising Venue Coordinator role is critical to the success of our fundraising efforts. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to make a difference, and able to be one step ahead at all times. You need to be bright, proactive and a strong communicator with a proven track record in general office administration to join the rest of our outstanding administration team. You will book all council, festival/event and shopping centre permits for our fundraising teams throughout Australia from our Sydney CBD office close to public transport. You will also research new venues and events to attend. You will develop relationships with councils, shopping centre management, and event organisers to facilitate the best possible outcomes for our teams. You will have the opportunity to: - Organise all council, festival/events and shopping centre permits for our fundraising teams throughout Australia.
- Research new opportunities and venues for our teams.
- Negotiate with external providers to build and maintain business partnerships.
- Be part of our energetic, motivated team
We are looking for someone with: - Advanced MS Word and Excel skills.
- Proven experience in a role which combined customer service and administrative tasks
- A proactive attitude with problem solving skills.
- Ability to priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- A strong customer focus.
- The ability to work autonomously
- Experience in managing teams of staff will be highly regarded
