This commercially driven business has many parts to their organisation and a need has arisen to support the retail arm of the business. This is a rare opportunity to enter the resources industry here in Sydney without having prior industry experience.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity will sit within the Commercial Finance function and will analyse the current retail business performance enabling Senior Management to make strategic decisions. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Understanding the current business performance through excel modelling
• Creating long term forecasts based on scenario testing
• Economic research and testing
• Business case analysis
• Working closely with the Senior management team
• Evaluation of market trends
• Monthly reporting on business performance
• Variance analysis

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this assignment you will need to be ready to start work immediately. With your exceptional excel modeling and VBA skills you will have the ability to interpret high volumes of data to support the commercial business. Considering the complexity of this position you must have had experience within a similar size business probably telecommunications or another resource business. You will need to demonstrate your understanding of business cases analysis and have strong communication skills. This business must react quickly to the market trends and your ability to cope within this type of environment is absolutely essential.
